George W. Harris

Joseph A. Caulder

Remembers

George W. Harris

George has been a familiar figure at International Conventions and Assemblies, ever since Rotary's early days. Up to 1950 he had attended 30 consecutive conventions and had acted as sergeant-at-arms at 24 International Councils and Assemblies.

There can only be one George Harris. Now at an advanced age, he is the same jovial George.

At many conventions we met George and Mrs. Harris and the two little girls. (now mothers themselves) and they seemed to be a part of the convention.

George was a great friend of the late John J. and Mrs. Gibson of Toronto.
